The beach at Agawa Bay campground is spectacular. Especially the sunsets. It is mostly quite in the month September and October.

Trees are a little tight getting in, even with a small RV. Just take your time and be patient and it'll be fine. Beautiful sites, nice beach.

The Campground was well maintained and kept clean twice daily with Covid 19 protocol in mind. During our 10 days there, we had a mixed bag of weather, even with a tornado-watch alert! We had a few beautiful sunsets over the wide expanse of Lake Superior. Just like its name, It was superior! The water was sparkling clear, where the water had its distinct colours of blues and teal in the waves, (from the glacial run-off in the spring). Even on the hottest day, the water is cold! I also love the fact that they had a $5,000 fine for littering! While there, we took time to go through their displays and the history of Lake Superior at the Visitor Centre. A must-do.

Spacious camp area. The lake front camp sites are the best. Lot of challenging hiking trails nearby.
