Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey
We are Open, and Right now is the Perfect time to stay to enjoy a Warm bonfire under the Stars!
We are a family-friendly campground nestled at the base of Willard Peak and framed by the shimmering waters of the Great Salt Lake with fruit orchards all around. The views from this KOA are stunning! This quiet country KOA, founded in 1964, is an oasis for nature-lovers. Visit Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, considered one of the best birding areas in the world, or stop by Antelope Island State Park and see the buffalo. Explore one of the breathtaking canyons in the area and take advantage of great hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and golfing. Shoshone and Mantua ATV trail systems are nearby. Golden Spike National Historic Site is also very close. Visit historic downtown Ogden (15 minutes away) or Salt Lake City (45 minutes away) while you are here. This is an amazing area with lots to see and do - or you can just sit back and relax in the refreshing pool and enjoy the view. Pool: OPEN for Summer of 2021. Max pull thru: 120 feet. Stayed overnight, we were very pleased with how friendly the staff was! Park is easy to get to, site was fairly level, everything worked, kiddos had fun at the playground. It's far enough off the freeway that road noise isn't an issue, but you can still see the Great Salt Lake from many of the spots. A welcome respite after driving through the insanity that was I-15 through the greater SLC area.

In for the night at Brigham City/Perry South KOA. Easy access off I-15. Far enough that's its very quiet. Not a large park but great for our needs. Very nice couple on check in. We didn't have a reservation. Rate was $52 for fhu. Usual discounts apply. The showers & toilets were IMMACULATE. Pool not open yet. Perfect for overnight. We would return!

KOAs are always great. This one in particular. Amber, the host knew my name when checking in, had been able to fulfill my request for a firepit and wood prior to arrival. Very friendly and personable service. Clean facilities and an amazing stay. Next time I find myself in the area it'll be the first place I look. I wish I had the opportunity to stay longer, and hope I have the opportunity to stay again.

Stopped in somewhat unexpectedly when traveling to avoid some weather. Called beforehand and had to leave a message, but my call was returned promptly and the person I spoke to was very helpful, even providing their personal number in case we needed any assistance. Easy enough to get to off the highway, check in process was simple and the park was very quiet overnight. Best of all (for me) was that the bathhouse was kept very warm, showers had great water pressure and plenty of HOT water, and everything was immaculately clean. So grateful for that after several days of traveling & boondocking!

A wonderful place to stay. The new owners are fantastic and super friendly. They want to make everyone welcome. The site and the restrooms are clean and the sites are great. We came up for a week of birding in the area and selected this KOA because of its location central to many of the places we wanted to visit. We had great time and will stay at this KOA when we come back. Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts and providing such a great place to stay. UPDATE: We went again this year and it was just as fantastic and wonderful as the last. This will always be our go to place to stay when in the area. UPDATE: We have been back for the fourth time and it just keeps getting better. Thank you for the wonderful time.
