Based on my experience I wouldn't trust the rates you are quoted over the phone or at times in person. I've been her for over 6 months. In August I called and inquired about rates. I was quoted $850 a month over the phone. I was also told a non refundable deposit of $400 a month was needed to hold my reservation over the winter. I gave them $2000 to secure a space from November through March. When I got here in mid September I was told the monthly rate would be $1050 and would rise to $1150 for November and December. I also needed to give them $400 to secure my reservation for October, which I did. They came knocking on my door on October 1st and said I owed them for October. The $1050 I gave them only covered my rent for September at the daily rate and their "month" began on October 1st. I was told the rent for October would be $1150. Needles to say, I paid it because I was trapped. The monthly bill for November and December turnout out to be $1350, not $1150, and the monthly bill for Jan - Mar was $1650 not the $1350 that I was quoted. These figures do not include the 13% tax that was added. I had heard that the rates were going up so I asked the office staff what the new rates were. The swore to me that the rate for April was $1300, and moving forward the rates for the summer would be $1050. The bill for April turned out to be $1400 and the summer rate would be $1150. The office staff can't be trusted to give accurate information.

This was not me favorite KOA, very tight sites. I stayed for two weeks, while I visited with family and friends in fifteenth areas. The staff are very friendly and down to earth and are eager to help with anything they are able. It did appear they may have been going through some remodeling, lots of different projects going on that at the time were not being worked on. It was quiet, but not much more then a place to jam your rod into until you are ready for your next destination.

Very accomodatng. The staff is friendly and helpful. We registered on the road and due to problems we had, arrived later than expected. We did not take the immediate right hand turn to enter the park that we should have and ended up at a dead end with rig in tow. Backing was difficult but we eventually found an expansive lawn to back into and turn around. After arriving at the campground even later due to the detour, there was insufficient signage on our site to fully identify it. We pulled into a rig staging area and fell into our bed for a much needed rest. During the daylight we noted that the park entrance is clearly visible. I recommend that signage at the entrance and for individual sites be improved to accommodate nighttime arrivals. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even extending it another day. Keep up the good camping you provide.

The location is great for exploring all of southeast Florida. The staff is very friendly. The park suffers from years of wear and tear without major improvements being made. This is NOT up to par with most KOA Holiday parks. It is much more like a small quaint Mom and Pop park. Spaces are small but some are pretty nice. Laundry room has 6 dryers of which 1 was operational. Tough time if more than one person needs to clean clothes.

Great staff and welcome. Great location for visiting the area. Infrastructure needs massive capital infusion, maybe fewer spots so you can safely maneuver. Staff and location are great. However our sewer and neighbors backed up up the first night after a long travel day. The sites were so tight even experienced big rig operators were pacing out their exit routes on foot looking stressed. We lucked out the vehicles parked appropriately in their spots were gone when we had to leave or we would have been trapped until they moved them. Recommend you come in daylight for a back in site if you have a big rig.
