Beautiful campground I have been going there for years. Don't go there if you are a person of color or own an animal. This week I seen a family get thrown out for having a two month old baby goat. I seen a couple get thrown out for getting frisky in there tent. There is a camp host that has a napoleon attitude. I am not of color but I don't recommend this place if your looking to have a good time without being kicked out for it. Its very sad there are some people that think there job is to police people who are just there to enjoy the outdoors and have a peaceful weekend. Be very weary if you tread there.

We stayed 2 nights in a pull through site with full hookups. Everything worked very well and the park is very quiet. We were able to walk by the river, which is a great thing to do just before sunset. The bathrooms on site are maintained in reasonable condition and very clean. We were parked at the far south end of the row and really liked the spot.

Place was pretty dope. Low cost camping with plenty of spots for hammocks and trails by the river line. Fires realistically aren’t allowed but you can do it discreetly and responsibly. Bathrooms with showers and vending machines. Could use more electrical outlets for charging. Generally a lot of people seem to go there during the summer.

Beautiful camping resort on the eastern bank of the Colorado river south of Davis dam. Striper, trout and carp fishing. Can be somewhat windy and, in the winter, quite cold. However, The disabled person pier on the north side of the dam at Katherine‘s landing has been damaged and closed for two years in violation of the federal Americans With Disabilities act. Please notify your congressman or U.S. Senator.
