We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.

We needed an overnight to break up a long drive that was new Ann Arbor. While reading the initial reviews didn't give me full confidence in what we would find, we feel this place is a gem! We had a pull through site that was shaded and we felt was spacious. The campground was quiet. We didn't need the facilities so I can't speak to those. My son LOVED that fishing was available and he was able to catch several small fish in the time we were there. Given its proximity to Detroit and Ann Arbor, this would be a great launching point. We would recommend this campground!

Nice stay was cool and rainy. Ice cream was good but different people gave different sizes for the same order need to work on their sizing, but still a reasonable price. The trail around lake was nice, the tractor rides people seemed to enjoy. By 10 the park was real quiet. Lots of dead trees that need to come down before they come down on their own, the one on our lot you could see right through it hollow all the way down from hole which was about three feet up the tree not sure how high up the tree it went was scared to put my arm in the middle of it.

Nothing was available to do. SitesTo close together. Noisy neighbors. Rain puddles everywhere hard to walk dogs.
