This is our second year to stay at Elk Creek. Love this place. The sites are terrific. Clean, well laid out with a combination of trees and open spaces, which we love. There is also a real wildlife presence AT the campground (see pics). The amenities (bathroom, Wifi, store, etc.) are first rate as well. The bathroom and shower facilities are up-to-date and always very clean! The owners and staff are amazing! The owners are passionate about their facility and it shows in every detail of the park. And their staff were top notch as well.

This place is decent but Definitely for the RV/camper crowd. We brought our tent but reserved a larger RV spot and were told to set up on the RV pad instead of the grass. There is very limited space between camping spaces so you feel like there is no privacy. Unfortunately we visited right after a fire so the recreational activities we had intended on were put to a halt since the burn areas were marked off. Me and my husband are used to a more rustic environment when we camp. While it is nice to have amenities, I didn't like the fact that the bathrooms have a code for entry or that you can't collect your own wood. It seemed like there was no room for exploring/metal detecting/etc. Also, the lights out after 10pm is kind of strange. I think this is a very nice place, just for a certain crowd. Thank you guys for the stay! We may revisit when we are retired lol.

Wow this place is exactly what camping should be! Nice distance between sites, moose wandering through your campsite, and a beautiful location. I specifically want to call out the friendliness of the staff and owners. We needed some tools for a small maintenance job for our trailer. They went above and beyond to help us with tools. Thank you very much! You guys have great thing going there.
