Estes Park KOA Holiday
Your campsite is just 5 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our campground is suited for small RV's and Trailers. At 7,500 feet, this campground is an ideal base camp for exploring the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. During peak summer months, take a free shuttle to the town, and to the national park. Spend a day at the national park, with its pristine wilderness, hiking trails and plenty of elk, moose, bear, coyote and mule deer. Drive Trail Ridge Road for panoramic views from 12,000 feet. Across the street from the campground, you'll find Lake Estes and the Big Thompson River with world-class fly-fishing. Rent pontoon boats, paddle boards, or bikes at the marina. Go horseback riding at Sombrero Ranch next door. Just down the road (about one block) is a family fun park, with mini golf, bumper cars, bumper boats and rock climbing. During peak season, enjoy on-site pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials and free marshmallow roasts. There's free Wi-Fi, and the store is stocked with supplies and souvenirs. Camp in a Tent, RV, Rustic Cabin or Deluxe Cabin.

This is a wonderful KOA. The location is perfect for exploring. The sites are good size and the entire grounds are clean and well kept. Most importantly is the amazing staff. They were so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. My only regret is we didn’t have time to stay longer. Thank you for everything!

Staff members are really friendly and are out and about the park ready to help. Great for dogs and kids with pet area and playground. Really nicely maintained! Clean showers with good water pressure and family bathrooms! Awesome. We would absolutely stay here again and next time try a private cabin. Our 28' trailer fit nicely in an elevated spot with full hookups and a view of the meadow where elk were grazing in the morning.

This is our favorite KOA! Greg the owner made us pancakes with fresh blueberries and chatted with us for a while, and we had the pleasure of seeing Henry’s and Jesse again, and got to meet Leah. The people here are fantastic and take a ton of pride in this beautiful place. We’d love to see them stay open into the winter if possible! We’d definitely rent a cabin during the off season as we love all seasons in Estes! Thanks again! We’ll be back!
