It was awesome seeing Dave and georgeanne! And as always the park looked really nice and well maintained. The bathrooms and the showers were very clean. And I'm glad that you guys are still monitoring the park. I love the garbage pickup. I was really surprised about that there can not be no dog pens anymore but I understand.

This campground has always been a go-to for me. It's located an hour from just about everything. The facilities are clean and there are activities for the kids. I feel like the value of the wristband isn't quite worth the price. The amount of firewood you get for the price is lacking, as well. for the price we paid, and the fact they don't allow you to bring in wood (despite it not being communicated at all, so seems like they shouldn't be allowed to enforce it), guests should be given at least one complementary bundle. And while I would recommend this KOA, we were disappointed with our last stay. The staff members, two in particular, were incredibly rude. While I fully understand that there are rules and they need to be enforced, there is a way to do so without being aggressive and rude. My daughter was yelled at for being the jump pad without a wristband, even though she did have a wristband. We were yelled at for being loud, before quiet hours, and instead of just asking us to turn it down, the staff member started barking orders and treated us with zero respect. We tried to be very respectful of the rules and other campers, yet every time we turned around we were getting yelled at. I have never been treated like this at this KOA before, and it has really made us question returning. We fully understand a need for the rules, but there is a way to talk to people without just barking orders and yelling at people.

Love, loved this campground. Peaceful, quiet, lots of trees. We stayed in a pull through site with our 42ft fifth wheel. Site was long enough for RV and park truck. Level gravel pad. Fire pit. Plenty of space between sites. Dog park has 2 separate spaces which was nice. Did not use laundry or restrooms. Lots of interesting activities for kids. Super friendly and helpful staff. Far enough off interstate to be quiet. Took day trip to Mackinac Island. Only 1hr drive to ferry. Definitely would stay again if return to area.

Awesome camp ground. Tons to do. Sites are spacious and level. Pool and shower very clean. Game room was not open, but who comes camping to play video games. On site laundry was nice and cheap. Staff was very nice and friendly.
