I visited this place during Easter Holidays. It was over crowded, definitely it was overbooked. There was no one to check booking at gates, everyone was allowed to enter even without booking. There was no grass at all, only dust ready to turn into mud in case of rain. Good thing is, it was full of tress. You can enjoy your time even on sunny days. Toilets were neat and clean.

If you want to peace and quiet then this is the perfect place. Clean facilities, showers and toilets plus a BBQ. Roomy sites, powered and uncovered. Love it

This camping area accommodates all types of camping from tents to caravans. There are sixteen sites that have both power and water. The amenities block is clean, has flushing toilets and free timed hot showers, with a disabled toilet and shower too. There are a couple of electric BBQs, handy for days of Total Fire Bans. Wood fire pits are at available on every powered site and all about the campground, BYO firewood of course. In 2018 I stayed at the "village campground", also managed by National Parks and Wildlife Service and have a preference for this area.

Clean amenities, hot showers. Campground is fairly open with plenty of room. Take your own firewood and make use of the many fore pits.

Great campsite booked through national parks and wildlife. It does have powered sites for caravans but also has areas for tents and a barbecue area and also toilet and shower facilities. Though one point you will be given a code to access the toilet and showers and you have a button on the shower that lets you have one minute hot water showers. Very quiet and relaxing place overall if you are trying to get off the grid. There is limited phone reception and I had no reception with Vodafone in Hill End , but I noticed my dad had reception on Telstra.
