We moved from Nebraska to Alabama and needed a place to stay while we found and closed on a house. Higgins Ferry did not disappoint!! It was a perfect home away from home for a couple of months. Very accommodating and beautifully maintained. You are sure to enjoy your time here whether it’s a short or long stay. Donald and Kathy are the best and I feel we have made new friends!! It was a very clean and nice park. The boat landing will accommodate three boats to launch at a time. There's not allot of parking space there so unless you would like to walk I would get there early for a closer parking space. Other than that I highly recommend this park.
