Higgins Lake / Roscommon KOA
Welcome to the Higgins Lake KOA!
Stay with us at the Higgins Lake KOA! You'll find us nestled into the edge of a quiet forest just one
mile away from Higgins Lake, one of the world's best-hidden gems! With Higgins Lake, the
Au Sable River, state forests, and more just minutes away, the Higgins Lake KOA campground is the
perfect place to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.
Enjoy fresh, cooked to order, breakfast on our patio! (Holidays only). Centennial breakfast on summer weekends! Be sure
to order a pizza from us and we'll deliver it straight to your site! Our pizza is great for a
cheesy lunch or to enjoy around your cozy, evening fire. For dessert, or just to cool down during
a hot summer day, we offer an assortment of ice cream flavors, including our favorites, which can
only be found in Michigan! Be sure to get your ice cream before the outdoor movie begins!
Our scheduled crafts and kids' activities are a great way to create memories you can take home
with you! Get your hands a little dirty searching for fossils and gemstones at the mining sluice!
Don't forget the breathtaking, crystal clear waters of Higgins Lake are within walking distance!
World-renowned inventor and explorer Jacques Cousteau once said, in an interview with
National Geographic, that Higgins Lake is one of the most beautiful bodies of water he has ever
seen! Whether you take a drive around the lake or walk barefoot on the sandy shore, it is a
MUST see. Have a picnic, or cool down with a swim, at the local beach access. Water sport
rentals are also available on Higgins Lake, Houghton Lake, and the Au Sable River! (Flyers
available at the camp store).
We look forward to being part of a vacation your family won't soon forget!

Pretty park. Way over priced. No pool, no cable, no wifi and roads are in bad shape

So happy with this campground, the employees were so nice and it was quiet and clean. Perfect place to come to get away and plenty of peace and quiet. They deliver the wood and even come around to pick up your garbage once a day. This isn’t our first visit and it we definitely will be back!
