Made a reservation and because of exposure to Covid had to cancel. In trying to do the right thing by not exposing other people we lost our deposit and with it being so late in the season we wouldn’t have the opportunity to use it this year. Asked if we could use it for next season we were told that simply wasn’t their policy. This would have been our first time staying at this campground. Now there won’t be a first or a last. They will never see our business. Far too inflexible for a service business. I definitely would NOT recommend.

Quiet campground. We booked this campground because of the water access from our site. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the weeds grown over (6 ft +) at the edge of 90% of the lake making access to the water from our site not possible. We were expecting waterfront access but got water view instead. Camp store prices are high and there is no cable.

We had a wonderful time at this campground in late summer. We were slightly skeptical of some of the reviews left but are so glad we booked our stay. We were a little disappointed that the bar was closed in the middle of the lake, that was one of the things that drew us to this campground in particular. But it was peaceful, quiet, the pool was amazing and the view from our campsite was wonderful. We stayed in site 30 and I would highly recommend it. This is not a campground that will have many activities planned out for you, but a nice relaxing place to enjoy your time. The staff was super friendly and if we are in the area again we will definitely be rebooking.

Was super nervous after reading the reviews about the staff. But the two women (one in office one in store) were very polite. We didn’t interact with the owner I guess, who most of the negative reviews are about. So we really enjoyed this campground! Nice and quiet at night and very relaxing. Definitely worth the extra $10 a night for the lake view. There was a really nice breeze off the lake at night. Was really close to the beaches and the horses, which is why we went. I am only giving the place 4 stars because the bathhouses were pretty gross. And also weird. A huge room with one shower and a toilet, but a huge campground. We went to shower when there was luckily no line but what happens when everyone needs to use the bathroom or shower? Definitely could use a huge upgrade there. If anything, they need to be cleaned.

So peaceful and relaxing. No WiFi ... a real get away from the world. Just good old fashion camping owned by a private awesome family.
