Great Alabama Park. Small. Quiet. Lake for swimming in summer, Fall. Clean. Fishing, camping, RV, tents. BbQ. Walk trails. Quiet get-away from stress. Stay away here and visit Tuscaloosa area or Birmingham for restaurants, college sports, malls. 2022 World Games in Birmingham.

Loved this campground, very spacious, clean bathroom and bathhouse. Many trails to hike also. I absolutely love the old time playground myself, brought back many memories. They do have a newer playground also

This sweet little park is sadly neglected. Crumbling roads, crumbling pads. Half of the sites have the electric hook up on the curb side. The pull through sites are just wide spots in the road. Everything is outdated and done on the cheep. But I still like this park and it has potential. It was quiet at night. But for $170 per week it was a disappointment. Deerlick Creek is close and much cheaper. Leave Lake Lurleen to the full time campers who live there.
