Livingston / Paradise Valley KOA Holiday
Relax, rejuvenate, reconnect on the Yellowstone River in beautiful Paradise Valley. Your gateway to Yellowstone National Park!
Here at the Livingston/Paradise Valley KOA, things are more relaxed with a genuine Montana feel. Built in 1967, our KOA still has some of that old charm. This is something that we pride ourselves on, as we work on updating the campground, attempting to keep what makes this place charming while updating what requires attention. What we lack in modern amenities we make up in true Montana hospitality and gorgeous views. This award-winning KOA boasts 500 feet of Yellowstone River frontage in one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Just 9 miles south of I-90 and 40 miles north of Yellowstone, this KOA is a great base camp for exploring the National Park. Reserve one of the Deluxe Cabins or Deluxe RV Patio Sites right on the river. Or park your RV in one of the mountain-view Pull-Thru RV Sites. Just minutes away, you'll find hiking, biking and horseback riding. Historic Livingston hosts a true Montana rodeo, fine dining, live music and museums. Limited services April 1st - April 30th & October 1st - October 15th. Pool and Breakfast: Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Your host: Gregory Lesky. The road getting to our KOA is, at times, a little rough. The state is planning to redo the road, but that project is a few years out. If you take your time and drive slowly, it shouldn't be too bad.

The employees at this KOA are fantastic - super helpful, friendly and organized. The park is obviously well maintained and the setting is lovely! Be careful - the road leading to the KOA entrance is super bumpy. That’s not the fault of the park owners - just be sure to drive slowly.

We stayed in one of the cabins with a bathroom including a shower. When we booked the cabin, the information did say “don’t forget bedding”. We were surprised upon arrival that towels were not supplied. It would have been helpful if it would have said bring bedding and towels. We certainly did not expect thick, fancy, hotel quality towels. It would have been fine if they had come from the thrift store. Drying off with paper towels was not what we expected.

Great park, excellent hosts, very quiet, even when full. Everyone (campers included) seem very happy. The hosts went out of their way to let us know about upcoming road work and gave us good alternatives to get back on our trip. Showers are excellent, clean, and well maintained. Pool is huge and the kids love it. I'm delighted that we're not on top of our neighbors and there's a nice amount of green. I don't care for parking lots. Loved the little rabbits that were all about in the woods surrounding. Will definitely stay here again!
