Can't wait till April 15th.

It was nice. There wasn’t many things to do (due to the pool being down for the season). But we made due. Camping is for relaxing and sitting around a fire and that’s what we did. It was very relaxing. I do wish that there were “dual camper” sites where the 2 campers faced each other.

Great resort! A lot of activities for the whole family. The employees were kind and happy to help. The property was nicely kept up and the facilities were kept very clean. My family and I will definitely be back. It’s close to Road America too. 😎

This place is HORRIBLE! I can not figure out why anyone would return here year after year. We paid top dollar (over $180/night) to stay in a 2 double bed cabin. My son stayed in a second cabin with the exact same issues. It was a terrible experience. First, our cabin sat ON the entrance road to the campsite. Thus, every car entering the facility lit up my cabin with its headlights. Next, the mattresses are left over from a 1920s asylum. They are rock hard, covered in plastic and absurdly loud every time you move. You sweat the entire night because there is no mattress cover, just a very thin sheet and plastic. There is a sign stating that they wash all blankets in house, but my son’s blankets had multiple human fluid stains (pictures didn’t come out). Clearly not washing the blankets that often. The moldings and surfaces except countertops were covered in layers of dust. There were no curtains on the cabin’s side door; which sits across from the minuscule bathroom. So when you leave the bathroom, you had better be fully dressed because you will be in full site lines of numerous other cabins. Finally, they provided 1 TINY bath towel for a cabin that they state sleeps 4. We arrived later in the evening, dirty from the track, to discover that there was one towel for the both of us. Simply unacceptable. When I brought the issue of the towels up to the woman in the office, she was annoyed that I hadn’t read the 7 page manual given to us at the check in(which was a security guard handing us a packet, no explanation or offers of guidance). If this was a $50/ night situation, maybe some of this would be acceptable. But this place is more expensive then any of the local hotels. We chose this place because of its proximity to the track. We all agreed that we would rather crawl naked over glass than return to this money grubbing garbage hole of a campsite.

Beautiful camp ground. Plenty to do.
