Amazing campground! We booked Sycamore on Halloween, and saw so much wildlife! Deer, tarantula, coyotes, bats and toads. We had a beautiful sunset, clear sky at night and saw the milky way, then a nice cool foggy morning. The camp host was very attentive, she serviced the bathrooms 2x, very clean restroom too BTW. No fires allowed, so we pre cooked all of our food at home and just heated up on the propane stove at the campsite. We used purple string lights in our fire pit for a spooky Halloween effect. 10/10 will stay there again.

Excellent outdoor camping location for large groups. Clean, quiet and peaceful its a great location to bring the family or get away from it all. Each camping area has own bathrooms, plenty of parking, and access to potable water. The geography its flat and is surrounded by maple/oak trees you can camp under. All campsites have access to awesome hiking trails for hikers of all levels, the view from sage hill is spectacular! There is a nice ocean breeze that blows in from the south west early in the afternoon. I would suggest using early online reservation system to save your spot. Bring your own water and plenty of bug repellent.

If you can get some friends together to chip in for a group camping area, this is the way to do it. No partying going on until all hours, no screaming kids running through your site, no drunks to deal with. Unless the parties, kids, and drunks are members of your group, anyway. This was the first time I've had a quiet night camping on Paradise Road unless it was during the winter with nobody else around. Wonderful! Our camp host was awesome, the restrooms were kept clean and fully stocked, and it was a great experience all the way around. Normally you have to cross over a stream to get to the campground, but at the moment it is bone dry. When there's enough water the stream is a great place for your kids to play.

Lots of tarantula but very nice place to camp...stayed a weekend out here..and was very happy with environment..very calm..not too cold..and lovely. Bring enough food..the camp site is pretty far from any stores. Be completely prepared for anything.
