Seward KOA Journey
Welcome to the Seward KOA!
We are a new KOA campground! We opened our RV park in May, 2019. We have spacious pull through sites with water, electric and sewer. 20, 30, and 50 amp at every site, and the park is big rig friendly. Free showers with heated floors await you. Laundry facilities are on-site for your convenience. We are 5 minutes to Exit Glacier and in the other direction, 5 minutes to downtown Seward. Within walking distance from the RV park are two restaurants, three bars, and a doctor's office. Our location is one mile off the Seward highway, next to Resurrection river, with a gorgeous view of Exit Glacier valley.

Overall pleasant experience- hence the rating. However, some things to be aware of that affected our stay: If you are a late online check-in (we were tenting) the bathrooms require an access code that isn't provided unless you checked in early enough to receive an envelope in the the late check-in drawer. Additionally, next door to the campground is a dog kennel (appeared to be a sled team) and from 6:40am- when we left at 8:15am, the roughly 20 dogs were constantly barking and howling incredibly loudly. If you are in a camper/RV I don't think this would be an issue, but for tent campers, be aware. Otherwise, some positives, the campground is clean, orderly, plenty of hot water, the bathrooms are private and warm, and the morning views are gorgeous.

The place was AWESOME! Great view, nice distance to Seward. We arrived later in the day and the envelopes were gone and there was no clear instruction on what to do. We ended up picking one of the vacant sites on the list and it was already taken. Customer service when we called was super awesome. She was very friendly and resolved the issue right away. The showers & laundromat were aweosme! Highly recommend this place.

Clean washrooms. Hot showers! Friendly staff. More set up for RVs then tent campers like us, but they do have a few camping pads and they’re very nice. Even the tent sites have water and electricity. Luxury living with a campfire, you can’t beat that.

Started our vacation at Miller’s landing.... Quickly left and came here. Best decision we made the whole vacation! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Bathrooms are VERY nice and clean! The whole campground is extremely well maintained. I’d give them 12/10 stars over and over again!

Excellent amenities. Super friendly owners. Tons of places for kids to play and amazing views. We originally stayed at resurrection bay, but are so glad we changed to spend our last nights here. No mosquitoes, but plenty of bald eagles.
