We had to pivot our travel plans and ended up here! Great location, quiet, and when the weather is warmer, there are TONS of stuff to do! The grounds are VERY well kept and it was so clean! Rose is the one who helped us out whenever we were in the office. She was awesome! Being from Indiana, we will definitely be back at some point because of the great experience we've had!

We have stayed at the Soaring Eagle Hideway Campground 4 times within 2 years and it has always been very nice and quiet. This year we met Rose at check-in and she was super nice and extremely helpful! She answered all of our questions and pleasantly accommodated our issue. I wish there are more Rose’s in the customer service world.

This is the BEST RV park! Rose is an amazing employee and she went above and beyond to make my six-year-old son have the best vacation ever with his grandparents. She even went and found him a specific toy that he wanted that was sold out at the Camp Store, but that she was able to get at another shop associated with the Casino/Resort. Even if you don't have kids, this place is such a beautiful, quiet place to stay (unless there's a Def Leopard concert over at the Casino--then bring earplugs ;-) haha!) I cannot wait to stay again next year.

If your going to just camp it's a bit pricey, but they do have a complimentary shuttle to the Casino & you do have access to the pool at the water park. So if you take advantage of these amenities it's a much better value. I believe Rose was the Woman at check in, she was super friendly with a Great personality. The campground was fairly clean with just enough room between campers.

We stayed in the soaring Eagle Hideaway Campground. The campground was very nice with paved sites, firepits, full hookups and 50/30 amp service. However we arrived on July 24,2025 and the office was closed and locked with a note on the door stating that the office and camp store would be closed for the entire weekend, which it was. So there was no one to direct you to your site, tell you how to get the shuttle or firewood. We pretty much had to find our sites on our own. Finally at 5:00 a worker came around in a golf cart to tell us we had to check in online. He did bring us some firewood which was $7.00 a bundle. The bathrooms were clean. However, the office and camp store being closed IS a big problem. This is peak season for camping in Michigan and can’t understand why the office would be closed. Also, the lake was not in good shape at all.
