We camped here for 3 full seasons and loved it!! Previous owners were great! The new ownership is horrible! They never bothered to introduce themselves they sent an email. They sent another email on labor day weekend with the new rules and contract what a joke!!! Raised the rate for waterfront site to 5000. For a season for 2022 with absolutely no guarantee you will even get s site, but they still wanted their deposit! Then if you want to put your boat there that’s another 2grand plus pay electric monthly!! Additional fees for everything!!! List of rules and regulations as long as my camper! Greg and holly were great people ! Other than that management sucks! I highly recommend you dont stay here, they don’t care about anything except making money!!

We have camped as seasonal campers for 10 years. The new owners are horrible. Absolutely no people skills. They never once introduced themselves to us. The only reason I ever met the wife is because I went into the office. Never met the husband. When we asked them to fix some ruts in our yard (from another camper), they laughed it off and said they weren’t that bad. My husband explained to them that I have MS and have trouble walking and feeling my feet. They never came to fix it. Then I went in and asked again. Explaining about my needs. They said they’d be right over. Nope! Never fixed it! Ridiculous! The way they gave us news (for example: the rates for next year) was so impersonal. Email on a Sunday. Really? When you are raising the rates almost double? Just an email? Then give us a whole list of what new rules are going to be, and they don’t even know how many sites will be available next year. But they want a deposit! The grounds were not maintained well all summer. No one ever ran a weed eater all summer. When they did mow the field, it was like a hay field that needed to be raked into bales! I can’t imagine having little kids running through that grass and then tracking it into my camper! I will NOT be back! Update: we just went back to get our steps and outdoor furniture. And to checkout. Checkout was moved up to the 31st at 11, even though our contract says November 1. Our steps were over in a heap of stuff next to the dumpster. Furniture nowhere to be found. Went in and asked them where our stuff was. They claim that they thought we got it. We asked why our steps were moved. They said they thought we were done. We informed them it was OUR site until tomorrow at 11. They acted surprised that we seemed to know our rights. Scumbags.

We stayed at Waterloo Harbor about two weeks ago. The location is great. That's about it. It is a cute little campground. However, it needs a lot of maintenance done. I believe it is managed by a young couple who are very nice and try to be helpful. The campground has a lot of potential. Just needs some work right now.

New owners, not offering discounts but the staff are more than helpful and sweet! The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and you get a feeling of being safe! Huge showers, clean laundry room and beautiful flowers throughout the park! Highly recommend if your passing through
