When traveling east on Route 102 (Victory Highway) to Wawaloam campground there is a very hazardous paved drop off at the turn with Ten Rod Road. There is a huge gradient difference from Route 102 turning onto Ten Rod Road that you can't see because the drop off has been paved . So make sure you DO NOT turn right at Ten Rod Road as I did, you will damage your RV. The Exeter Highway Superintendent is well aware of this hazard with 3 camper accidents at this drop off so far this year. Rhode Island Dept. of Transportation needs to place signage at this hazardous turn. I was promised today by Wendy (Wawaloam's manager) that Wawaloam will attempt to get the word out, improve the signage at Town Hall Road the correct turn from Route 102 and reach out to RI DOT to place warning signs at Ten Road Road.

Wawaloam owners are doing a fabulous job managing their visitors with the restrictions necessary to keep them safe and enjoy a family camping experience. My family will always choose Wawaloam and feel safe in doing so. Thank You Smith family!
