Not secure or climate controlled! We had our unit broken into and our catalytic converters stolen off our vehicles on two separate occasion. Management offered a couple months free rent that wouldn't even cover the cost of the converter let alone the installation and welding needed. They also only store the camera footage for 3 days so after that the thieves will get away scot-free. Most everything in our unit was ruined due to mold. They are clearly not running the dehumidifiers because the ground in constantly wet and there are pools of sitting water.

Do NOT store anything here unless you would like for it to come out absolutely covered in mold. We needed a place to store our belongings for 6 months, please note this timeframe, SIX MONTHS. We went to retrieve our stuff once we bought a new house and the attached pictures show just some of the horrible damage. We could have left our belongings outside for 6 months and it would not have looked like this. There was water coming out of boxes when they were being moved. That’s how much moisture was built up. Every single thing that was stored here had to be thrown away. This includes couches, beds, chairs, baby items, outdoor items. Nothing was safe to keep because of the mold damage. I even had a mold and cleaning specialist come to look at our furniture to see if it would be salvageable. He told me that I absolutely needed to throw it away. We are out thousands of dollars because we stored our things here. They have a faulty dehumidifier and clearly have no intention of fixing it. My hope is that anyone who currently has their possessions stored here sees this and gets them out immediately. This includes all of the cars, RVs and boats that are stored here. Your upholstery will come out with mold on it and your possessions will be totaled and unsafe. I have tried several times to speak with the general manager, Dennis. He has actively avoided my phone calls and will not return any of my messages. He sent a check to cover the amount that we spent on rent only. He sent a letter claiming that the lease that we signed states that they are not responsible for any damages. This is absolutely their fault and is complete gross negligence on their part. We hope no one else has to go through this.

All the staff are very nice. They are fast getting you into a dock, getting you unloaded, and fast with the paperwork. Has overnight parking.

This is definitely the low rent cave in Kansas City I've been in some of the other caves and they're nice and well lit and bright and this place is a bit depressing they are trying the bathrooms were very clean and very nice but they have a long way to go to get up to the quality of the other caves in Kansas City area

I rented there for 3 years now. I have an RV that I keep in the cave mainly for protection of the elements. The first year the company installed a very large dehumidifier and it helped significantly with the problem of mold and humidity inside the cave. This tells me that they were aware of the issue. For the past 2 years which would be 2018 / 2019 they did not use it at all. Recently it has been removed. Maybe the electric bill was too high? There are many RVs, boats and automobiles in the cave which have mold on them due to high humidity and no air circulation. If you're considering putting something in a cave be aware of this as it may outweigh the benefits. I have mildew and mold growing on things inside my engine compartment and even inside my RV at times. The other issue I have with interstate is the poor lighting which I have reported multiple times up to six months ago and yet nothing has been done. There are times I have to use a flashlight.
