If you’re thinking about renting a space, look for her, she’s super helpful and charismatic. Recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for cheap options for storage.

I have used Public Storage in different places in the US, and I can say with certainty that this one has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff that you will find. Patrice, the manager, gave me a tour of the place, helped choose the right size of storage to store my things, help me choose some some of the extra supplies that I needed, helped me out with navigating the newer version of the app, and was in general a very kind professional. She also makes sure that the place stays squeaky clean. The place itself is secure, but also very easy to access and to navigate. And there are plenty of carts for moving your stuff. If you go during a week day, you'll be able to do everything you want swiftly. Now, beware that during the peak weekends when everybody is moving, you may have to wait for a while before you can get a cart, so the extra smart thing to do, if you come during moving day, is to bring you own dolly!

Patrice has generally been helpful, for which I’m grateful. The building also appeared in good condition. Major issue, however, is that our furniture, clothes, kitchenware, etc. are covered in mold. We moved our household goods here 3 years ago, when the property was under Cube Smart, in conjunction with a military posting elsewhere. Now, upon returning, we found everything to be moldy. All soft materials like beds and sofas are a total loss, and we are disinfecting the solid wood furniture, scrubbing dishes, etc. I estimate that we paid over 12k in storage costs the last three years and now took over 15k in easy to quantify damages. Damages to pictures and heirlooms also occurred. Our insurance, USAA, will not cover losses without the mold being tied to a specific disaster, like flooding. The Public Storage folks have no knowledge of such an event. Perhaps something happened under Cube Smart without our or their knowledge. Seems like a broken AC, triggering of fire sprinklers, or local flooding from another unit could be the cause, among other possibilities. Oddly, while I was there today, the manager and, inadvertently, I discovered that our neighboring unit was hosting a turtle or tortoise. Maybe the guy next door was leaving water out and it spilled? My main reason for leaving this review, other than venting, is that the folks at Public Storage said they wouldn’t notify other tenants about possible mold issues, but I thought you might want to know. Below are some photos of my office chair, sofa, a wicker basket, and our junk removal service pulled up behind our moving van. Would’ve been simpler, in retrospect, to junk everything 3 years ago and skip the storage fees.

1st time I ever had to use a storage space, I'm really impressed with this place. Patrice was really awesome, she answered all my questions and was knowledgeable on everything. The booking was fast and easy, it was really good to see How updated everything is.
