Was with Cube Smart 2+ years. Two parking spaces, and 1 enclosed unit at this location. Since Uhaul purchased it in 2022, I have not had access to my boat many times. In the photos you see I was often blocked in despite asking them not to. Noone picks up the phone there (local line goes to 800). Noone calls you back. I have since closed both parking spaces because of arguing with their staff on various occasions. The last unit I checked out (only closed the remaining parking space...I still have an active enclosed unit there) on time (Nov 19th) without a debt. Uhaul sent me multiple past due warnings and lien notices. Noone responds to their emails, phones etc so I had to go into the office. On Nov 23rd I voice-recorded my visit to the office with them stating everything was all-set. Still more lien notices a month later. One month later I receive a final notice lien warning. I call the 502 local line and it sends me to an 800 number again who confirms I moved out on time and they should have closed the account locally. I recorded this conversation. AGAIN, I must drive to the location after no responses. REMINDER: IT IS ILLEGAL TO COLLECT A NON-EXISTANT DEBT. Armed with 2 phone recordings, I recorded the third one. After a conversation with a professional gent who was not the manager, and playing my recording form NOV 23rd, we advanced to closing the account. Mr. L. Johnson is a true professional. Unfortunately, I could not speak with his manager (was away at the moment) or get her to call me back after my local visit in-person. Poor L Johnson was forced to call me back and confirm it was taken care of finally. If you move out...KEEP PROOF and record all conversations. You may need it. Aside from that, please look elsewhere. This place has gone downhill since U-haul arrived. The photos show how I did not have access to my boat, and happened way too often. There are a certainly a few AWESOME folks I have encountered over the months at this U-Haul location and I thank them for being outstanding professionals.

GARBAGE don't go here. Stopped on the way back after my rental and put gas in at Thorntons. Get to the uhaul and walk in to drop off, they say just leave keys. I say don't you want to come out and verify/ check it in? They so no just leave keys and will email receipt. Never email receipt. A week later check bank account and ended up charging me for gas even though already put back in. Also have a second pending transaction from uhaul that won't clear from bank and don't know what it's for. Called customer service and was just as bad. Absolute joke just stay away, hopefully this location will fold soon.

U-Haul bought this unit back in August from Cubesmart. We have multiple units here, and just opened one up a few weeks prior to the U-Haul takeover. Not even a month after they skyrocketed the rent from what we were paying with Cubesmart, impossible to get ahold of anyone to discuss the issue. When asking the on-site staff all they do is give you the canned “it’s not us it’s corporate” line and now they close 3 hours earlier everyday at 5, where it used to be open until 8. Now it’s an absolute nightmare going there, because they are renting trucks, and the space is not really designed for it. So it’s always crowded, and constantly congested. It’s so bad that I am thinking about just paying more and going some place to else. Not worth it for what they are charging and they really couldn’t care less about the storage unit renters. Thanks for ruining the facility U-Haul..
